Hammock cranes and hammock nettings

The cranes in the kit are white metal and break at the slightest touch. They were replaced here with 1 mm brass tube folded round a wooden jig, so they all come out the same shape. The netting is ordinary fly screen and the hammocks are scraps of cloth dyed in tea.

Hammocks
There is no netting in the kit for the hammock cranes, only rope.
Used mesh from a kitchen fly screen; 'I am not that happy with the kit anyway. Most of it I make myself.' Pietsan sewed his netting to the cranes with needle and thread and knotted one himself when his starboard net turned out too small (modelbouwforum, 20 May 2016, https://www.modelbouwforum.nl/threads/hms-diana-engels-fregat-uit-1794.211803/page-58#js-post-3704736).

Hammocks
No method for attaching the nettings to the horizontal rope.
Used a small whipping and pulled the thread through with a loop.
