The hull is in copper
They are on at last. Both sides of the hull are coppered, with many thanks to Piet for sending, free of charge, the plates I ran short of after starting over a number of times. Really great.

Looking back: started on 23 December, finished on 16 March. Almost three months for a job I had set aside a few months for, so that is not too bad, despite a complete restart after the first few hundred plates and a waterline that had to be redone twice. The lessons are in the previous log entries, but in short: make a plan and mark out the belts first, follow the strakes and not the straight line of the keel, copper down to the keel amidships first so that you keep whole plates, and at a gore line start from the bottom so that both sides come out level.
Now only the rudder. Then the plates are done and the ship can go upright again, for the mouldings.
